Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is a controlled compression system for the body which makes this the perfect treatment for lymphatic drainage, cellulite, inch loss and fat reduction treatments. As the air is pumped through the individual air compartments, pressure is firmly applied to certain areas of the body to encourage the lymphatic flow.

This treatment is not only used for medical purposes, it is also used for detoxifying the body, revitalization and oxygenation of the tissue and improving skin tone. It is also a very relaxing and deep tissue massage, for those patients suffering with restless legs or spend too much time on their feet due to their job.

The air capsules within the Pressotherapy treatment use a rhythmic pumping movement, which effectively reduces water retention and improves vascular and lymphatic circulation. These pumps are designed to increase lymphatic flow and blood circulation from the ankles up to the abdomen, also enhances extra-cellular fluid clearance, reduces bloating, swelling and cellulite.

How Is Pressotherapy Done?

You will lie comfortably on a bed. The Pressotherapy suit is connected to air supplies, through a computer, which controls a compressed air feed to the suit. The air circulating in the suit effectively impacts the problem body areas, eliminating cellulite, swelling, and stimulating metabolism and blood flow. This effect is achieved by an accurately measured high- and low-pressure alternation. The duration of a procedure is approximately 40 minutes, pressure therapy is for 40 minutes. The treatment course includes 6 to 8 sessions. The sessions are scheduled once a week. If necessary, the course is repeated in 5 or 6 months. Often people enjoy the energy boost and health benefits and choose to continue Pressotherapy on a monthly basis to maintain their results.
